A couple of years ago we purchased our first computer. At the time we did not have a clear idea of exactly how to use it or what it could do for us. Like many small businesses the management here felt that we had to rapidly develop a Web presence in order to stay competitive considering the explosion of Internet activity. Brian was recommended to us by an old friend whom Walter Burrows knew who had been actively involved in Internet projects, but who resided out-of-town and could not to do the work for us. Brian came in and very inexpensively saw that the computer was set up correctly, that Windows 95 was installed correctly and designed our first web page. He also saw that we were represented correctly on the key search engines and he researched and advised us on some inexpensive Internet advertising that immediately began to pay off. He has since helped us to modify and improve the content of our website so that we now average over 100 hits every day and we get many requests for quotes. We have found Brian to be a very competent, together kind of person who has a balanced view of how the computer should be used. He is capable of implementing and teaching at all levels. He is now helping us to develop an internal network for our computers using Windows 2000, a multimedia training video using streaming video techniques and e-commerce. We highly recommend him to anyone who wishes to use the computer and the Internet to improve their business.
