No matter how well maintained a moving company's trucks may be there are occasions when they breakdown. Since a good mover stays fully booked most of the year it becomes necessary to rent a replacement truck when a breakdown occurs. We have been using Elite Truck Rental on occasion for many years. They have two facilities and enough trucks to always be able to help us when the need occurs, even at month-end when truck rental companies are usually swamped. We find their trucks to be well maintained and in good working condition, whenever we rent one. There are two locations, one in Chicago, and one in Skokie. We recommend their truck rental service for local do-it-yourself moving.
