Moving problems that are not easily solved occur occasionally as a result of a great variety of factors. A piece can be just too big to get through a doorway, up or down the stairs, around a turn, in the elevator, etc. Occasionally a residence's internal dimensions do not allow for moving a majority of goods to or from a second or third floor and special outside ramping, rigging or hoisting has to be employed to move goods to or from that section of the home. To solve moving problems we do hoisting, craning, unique liftings and lowerings of all kinds, and elevator hoists. We have a laddervator, block and tackle equipment, rope hoist and chain hoist equipment, slings, belts, various size dollies and a variety of different size ramps. We can handle furnishings or pianos or machinery up to 1200 lbs. each. |
We send an experienced hoist estimator to each problem situation and size up what equipment is necessary and how to set things up to solve the problem. If we cannot solve the problem because items being moved are just too heavy for us, we then recommend Anything Heavy Movers who may be found on our concierge.
| We have done many, many successful hoist / crane jobs utilizing our own equipment or in conjunction with Gatwood Crane Company who are also listed on our concierge. We work with them to crane lift / lower pianos, armoires, large sofas, etc. into place onto various floors or down to a truck. Sometimes we're called upon to hoist things under or on top of building elevators. We also utilize a forklift for certain situations and we have special heavy-duty boxes and very strong platforms upon which to erect high ramping.
