Our trucks are stocked with special materials. We bring special light coverings such as dolphin foam, bubble wrap and extra cardboard on our trucks whenever needed for specially wrapping and protecting antiques, artwork and special finishes on furnishings. We also use cardboard to place over our padding on glass, on big TVs and on furniture pieces with glass doors. This double protects the furnishings that are fragile and signals any of our movers who did not wrap the piece but are handling it later in the move, that there is glass behind the cardboard. This helps to prevent furniture damages. We also bring along boxes for TVs and electronics, lamps and shades, pictures and big pieces of glass or marble. We insist upon boxing any fragile things that need to be moved on the truck in order to avoid any chance of damages to these items. Burrows Moving Company trucks have absolutely great air ride suspensions and drive very smoothly even on rough roads. However, no matter how smoothly the trucks ride, there is still a bounce factor to contend with whenever furniture is transported. So all fragile items need to be extra protected by proper padding, cardboarding and proper placement within the load. Experience has taught us that the safest way to move fragile things is to fully protect them before we carry them. Previous Next
