We offer our long distance customers superior service. We do this by only doing our long distance moves exclusively for one customer at a time. We do not consolidate loads. We give excellent, cost competitive, same-day or overnight service to customers moving to surrounding states within 500 miles of Chicago. Our rates for exclusive service within this area are very competitive with the rates of consolidating shippers and the service is better. Only our most experienced driver/movers make these moves. The same men who load the customer's goods onto the truck drive it to the destination and deliver the load.
When a consolidator is used instead for long distance moves many times the goods are shifted from the pickup truck temporarily into a warehouse to await a tractor-trailer going in the direction of the load and then once taken there they are sometimes put into another warehouse before being loaded onto the final delivery truck. This can take quite a bit of time and things can be misplaced, lost or stolen as so many different people get involved in making the shipment. Shipments have been known to be sent to entirely wrong areas of the country and when this happens it can take weeks to correct the problem.
