over the years that the packers and movers doing our jobs every day are our very
best salesman because they 
do
such a great job for all of our Chicagoland moving customers. This is why 60 to 70 percent of our business each year comes
from referals or repeat customers.
In fact, many people calling us mention that they have had two or three or more friends who have referred them to Burrows Moving Company.
Other Chicago movers that we know about use a number of devious methods by which to stretch the billable time on each job in order to make the most money from each customer on moving day. They do not appear to be too greatly concerned about their reputation or about getting future business from that customer or about any referrals that may be lost as a result of their bad business practices. So they run up the bill, evidently feeling that Chicago is so well populated that their advertising alone will always get them more moves, no matter what any particular customer thinks or tells his friends.
We, on the other hand, feel that by doing the best job we possibly can for each of our greater Chicago moving and storage customers while keeping their costs down, we will establish such a good reputation with that customer that we will get further business from him and from those to whom he refers us for years to come. This happens very frequently and we attribute our continuing yearly growth to our customer's recognition of our good work ethic.
